These are pictures that the students took.  They were asked to describe the pictures in Spanish.  Jayden Yo toqué la foto de la Parroquia Archangel en el San Miguel de Allende Centro y a las nueve y media de la noche el Martes. Yo toqué la foto porque las luces de la iglesia miraron muy brillantes y bonitas, así que pensé que la iglesia era una foto artística. Antes de tocar la foto yo compré y comí helado y después de la foto regresé a casa aliz. ————— Rylan Neal- El martes antes del atardecer saqué esta foto con Troy a la mirador cerca de un barranco. Porque la viesta fue bonita y artística. Antes de tomar la foto con Troy yo cené con mis amigos. Después de la foto con Troy yo descansé cerca de un barranco.  ———————————————————————–– JD Cavaleri- saqué la foto en el mirador en San Miguel de Allende.  Yo tomé una foto en el mirador en San Miguel de Allende. Saque al foto en la noche. La vista de San Miguel de Allende era muy bonita y las luces de la ciudad eran bonitas también. Acabe

We are on the veranda having class and these are some pictures as the students are giving a critique of the past week.  I cannot believe it but for some reason the daily classes in the summer comes up as a common theme....who would have thunk it.

Welcome to MESA 2022 Blog

 Welcome to the 2022 Woodberry MESA blog.   We are safely in our main location, San Miguel de Allende.  We have finished our first week of study and we went to a pool/hot spring located on the outskirts of town in order to give the boys a chance to see a place where locals relax away from the typical tourist routes.  We had lunch overlooking the valley after a trek up the side of the hill at the edge of town.  The boys have been challenged with a scavenger hunt across the city.  Yesterday they searched the local mercado in order to find good deals.  They are searching out meals tonight by trying local places. Here are some picture from the study so far: Mr. Rivera getting a group shot in front of the local cathedral. Typical study session on the roof of our hotel Casual shot while observing Temple of the Sun. Relaxing before lunch at hotel. Lunch on Saturday was at this scenic spot.
